Charles I (1625-1649), Briot’s First Milled issue, Shilling, mm. flower on obv. only, signed b both sides, truncation breaks inner circle, 6.05g/6h (SCBI Brooker 716, same obv. die; N 2300; S 2854). Some light blank filing in centre, otherwise about extremely fine, pleasing tone (£700-800)
