Henry V (1413-1422), Half-Noble, class C, mm. pierced cross on rev. only, h above sail, broken annulet on ship’s side, rev. broken annulet in second quarter, 3.46g/7h (SCBI Schneider 237-9; N 1377; S 1749). Slightly creased, otherwise good very fine, rare (£500-700)

It is a matter of conjecture whether the h above the sail is a deliberate privy mark or simply a misplacing of the King’s initial by the die-sinker
