A good Prussian artillery officer’s pickelhaube, gilt plate the centre with intwined FR, possibly for the 3rd regiment, black patent leather skull, gilt fittings, national and state cockades, leather backed chin scales, the front peak lined with green leather and the rear with red, retaining its brown leather sweatband and white silk lining, the silk a little shot, minor wear to gilding and a little crazing to the leather otherwise good condition overall £500-550
