1st (The Queen’s City of Edinburgh Rifle Brigade) 1st Citizens’ Company, a very scarce blackened white metal shako badge, being the full arms of the City of Edinburgh (Bloomer Bk 1 No.38), two lug fasteners; 1st (Aberdeen) Aberdeenshire Rifle Volunteers, a very rare other ranks blackened white metal shako badge c1859-70?, being the arms of the city of Aberdeen, leopard like supporters to a shield bearing thee towers scrolling below and the motto ‘Bon Accord’, two lug fasteners; 2nd Administrative Battalion The Forfar or Angus Rifle Volunteers, a good quality die-stamped white metal shako badge, a large Thistle pattern star with central Royal crest for Scotland within a circle ‘In Defence’ (Bloomer Bk 1 No.135), two lug fasteners; The Highland Cyclists, a good quality silver plated, semi die-cast, small size glengarry badge, standard KC Thistle star with top scrolls ‘Highland Cyclist’ and at the bottom ‘Battalion T.F.’ ,two lug fasteners, good overall condition (4) £200-250
