The Black Watch (Royal Highlanders), a very fine officer’s plaid brooch, hall marked silver Edinburgh 1904, the engraved quoit applied with a heavy circle of thistle sprays, in the centre a cloaked St. Andrew and his Cross, stout pin fastener, both the quoit and the mount are struck retailed by Kirkwoods, Thistle St, Edinburgh, the rim with a slight buckle, otherwise very good condition £500-700
