The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise’s), a late issue 1881 pattern officer’s shoulder belt plate, rectangular burnished gilt back plate with cast silver mounts, a Royal Duchess’es coronet with scroll ‘Princess Louise’s’, two leaf ovals with the boar’s head and cat within the leaves, adorned with battle honours, a scroll at the base ‘Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders’, the mounts applied hook and stud fasteners, retailed by ‘Brook & Son, 87 George St Edinburgh’, good condition £80-120
