Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise’s), a very fine officer’s shoulder belt plate by Marshall & Sons Edinburgh 1881-c1914, the rectangular burnished gilt back plate with ornate silver mounts comprising Princess Louise’s coronet and title scroll over two leaf ovals, these with the Boar’s head/motto and the Cat/motto, the Princess’s label of cadency superimposed across the ovals, at the base a scroll ‘Argyll And Sutherland Highlanders’, standard hook and stud fasteners, very good condition £250-350
