Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons), a scarce officer’s full dress fur cap plume holder, the fused grenade mounted with the KC Royal Arms, at the bottom St. Andrew and his Cross set amongst Union emblems, at the base a scroll ‘Waterloo’ (the mount rubbed wired on original fixings missing), the very large gilt thistle spray in die-stamped gilt brass, as described in Dress Regulations for wear on the front of the fur cap though in fact not worn, three lug fasteners; two small correct pattern fused grenade other ranks forage cap badges, one copper gilding metal, one brass, both with slider fasteners; two officers’ silver plate and gilt cap badges c1940-60; five other ranks cap badges, two bi-metal, one white metal, one all brass, one bronzed; a good large size gilt Eagle pouch badge; a cast silver plate NCO’s arm badge; two white metal collar badges and a pair of brass s/titles ‘Greys’; Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, six assorted modern hat and pouch badges plus one anodised collar badge; KOSB one only officer’s full dress bullion and silk collar badge, good overall condition (25) £250-300
