A Caucasian shasqua, the curved 81cm multi-grooved blade with small makers mark filled with arabic script, back-edged for the last 18cm, retaining all its original burnished finish, characteristic nielloed silver hilt embossed and chased with foliate patterns, the grip with spiralling bands of niello work, complete with its wood scabbard covered with black leather having four nielloed silver mounts decorated en-suite to the hilt, small piece of leather missing from reverse of scabbard otherwise in fine condition throughout £1500-2000
