Argentina, Exposition Internationale and Centenary of Independence, Buenos Aires, 1910, a bronze plaque by F.-J.-A. Roques for the Comité Français, rearing horseman by a paddock containing bulls, rev. naked artisan proferring an olive branch to a robed female, 72 x 62mm (PBE 833; BDM –; cf. DNW 66, 1443). Very fine and very rare (£50-70)
