19th Century, Irish Terrier Club (Founded 1879), a silver award medal, unsigned, dog’s head left within wreath, rev. crowned harp and wreath of shamrocks, engraved (Won by ‘Mile End Stella’, Crufts, 1904), 40mm. Some spotting on obverse, otherwise extremely fine; with clip and ring for suspension (£60-80)

Cruft’s dog show was held at the Royal Agricultural Hall, Islington at that time and the name of the dog would suggest an East London connection
