19th Century, Opening of the Brighthelmston Dispensary, 1850, a white metal medal by Ottley, exterior view, rev. shield above legend, 53mm (BHM 2401). Extremely fine and retaining almost full original brilliance, very rare (£80-100)

The foundation stone of the dispensary was laid by the Earl of Chichester on 1 March 1849 and the building was opened on 21 January 1850
