An R.V.M. group of three awarded to Deputy Superintendent F. L. Clifford, Aden Police, late Clerk, Indian Medical Department

Royal Victorian Medal, G.V.R., silver, unnamed as issued; Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, undated reverse, 1 clasp, Suakin 1885 (Clerk F. Clifford, Ind. Med. Dept.); Khedive’s Star 1884-6, unnamed, second with some edge bruising, good very fine and better (3) £300-360

Egypt Medal and clasp confirmed. With Central Chancery letter, confirming Mr Frederick Lakeland Clifford was awarded the R.V.M. (Silver) on 27 July 1911, on the occasion of the visit of King George V to Aden. Mr Clifford was Deputy Superintendent of Police in Aden at the time. The medals are believed to have been awarded to one and the same man.
