Private George William Lee, 2nd Battalion Cambridgeshire Regiment, died/was killed in Malaya, 24 January 1942, aged 25 years. His name is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial. Sold with card medal forwarding box addressed to ‘Mr A. F. Lee, ‘Hes-Ta-Bgea’, Fourth Avenue, Garston, Watford’, and with condolence slip named to ‘5831221 Pte. G. W. Lee’.
