John Joseph Tait was born and lived in Dublin and enlisted at Naas. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, he died of wounds in France/Flanders on 26 May 1915. He was buried in the Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord, France. He was the husband of Catherine Tait of 37 Upper Abbey Street, Dublin.
