Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (Arthur Glossop) very fine £120-160

Arthur Glossop was born in and enlisted at Sheffield. Serving as Private 19943 in the 2nd Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers, he was killed in action on the 1st day of the Battle of the Somme, 1 July 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
