H.M.S. Rebreast was a composite screw gunboat. 83 officers and men of the vessel were entitled to the Q.S.A. without clasp; 76 were entitled to the A.G.S. with clasp for Somaliland 1902-04. The published rolls record that Childs was issued with duplicate Q.S.A. and A.G.S. medals.
