Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Relief of Ladysmith, Cape Colony (5622 Pte. J. Hancock, Middx. Regt.) second clasp lose on ribbon, number officially corrected, otherwise good very fine £200-250

Private J. Hancock was wounded at Spion Kop, 24 January 1900. He is known to have died subsequently but the cause is not known. Many medals to this regiment were issued without the clasp for Cape Colony which was sent subsequently. Sold with confirmation.
