Frederick Bertram Baker was born on 13 July 1870, at Fairlight, Sussex. He joined the Navy on 5 August 1888 and served aboard Powerful from September 1899 to April 1900. He joined the Royal Fleet Reserve in August 1910 and served throughout the Great War aboard the light cruiser Inconstant, including the action at Jutland. Sold with copy service papers.
