Military General Service 1793-1814, 8 clasps, Roleia, Vimiera, Corunna, Pyrenees, Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, Toulouse (John Currie, 91st Foot) small edge bruise, otherwise good very fine £2200-2400

John Currie was born at Hamilton, Lankarkshire, and enlisted at Stirling on 10 March 1807, aged 18, for unlimited service. He served in the Peninsula and at Waterloo and was discharged at Longford on 14 June 1826, due to length of service and being worn out. Sold with copy discharge papers.
