Sold at Sotheby in November 1907 and ex Elson Collection 1963.

Robert McCreedy was born at Moran, Co. Down, and enlisted at Dublin on 11 September 1811, aged 21 years, for unlimited service. He was discharged in the rank of Sergeant at Demerara, West Indies, on 15 July 1826, in consequence of ‘general debility occasioned by the effects of gun shot wounds received in the Peninsula.’ Sold with copy discharge papers.
