William Hayden was born at Newent, Gloucestershire, and enlisted at Tewkesbury on 21 June 1813, aged 18, for unlimited service. He was discharged at Dublin Royal Barracks on 28 May 1828, suffering from rheumatism since 1825, contracted when in the West Indies. Sold with copy discharge papers.
