Military General Service 1793-1814, 4 clasps, Talavera, Albuhera, Vittoria, Toulouse (John Lavender, Serjeant, 3rd Dragoon Guards) very fine £1200-1400

John Lavender was born at Wellington, Shropshire, and enlisted there on 29 March 1799, aged 18, for unlimited service. He was discharged on 10 October 1823, having been worn out in the service. His conduct was described as ‘Good’ and that he ‘served the whole of the Peninsula Campaign.’ Sold with copy discharge papers.
