Military General Service 1793-1814, 1 clasp, Ciudad Rodrigo (William Luty, 77th Foot) edge bruising, otherwise very fine and a scarce single clasp £1200-1400

William Luty was born in the Parish of Pelforest, near Coln, Lancashire, and enlisted at Chatham on 6 October 1807, aged 29, for ‘Limited’ service. He was discharged at Sunderland on 16 August 1821, due to a reduction in the establishment of the regiment. Sold with copy discharge papers.
