Charles I (1625-1649), Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Crown, 1643, mm. plume (with bands) on obv. only, large equestrian portrait, group of seven pellets on rev., 29.87g/11h (Morr. B-3; SCBI Brooker 874, same dies; N 2406; S 2947). Possibly the subject of a minor repair by a of mag and with minor surface metal flaws at left of Declaration, otherwise very fine and toned (£2,500-3,000)
