Victoria (1837-1901), Visit of queen victoria to epping forest, 1882, a bronze medal by C. Wiener for the Corporation of London, crowned bust left, reverse Londonia holding open a gate at the edge of the forest, Queen seated at right, 75mm (BHM 3128; E 1689). Brilliant, practically as struck (£70-90)

Sold with a framed and glazed colour invitation to the dedication ceremony, 32 x 24cm, printed by Blades, East & Blades, No.538, signed by Whinfield Hora on behalf of the Corporation of London and the Lord Mayor, the Rt Hon John Whittaker Ellis. The ceremony took place on Saturday, 6 May 1882
