Germany, The Baptism of Christ, c. 1700, a cast silver medal by G. Hautsch and L.G. Lauffer, Joseph and Mary with infant by font, rev. St John baptizing Jesus in the waters of the River Jordan, 54mm (Goppel 4433; Laugwitz 252); together with other miscellaneous medals, mostly British (10, two in silver) [11]. Generally very fine, but first with casting fault on reverse (£60-80)
