Jenkins & Son, conjoined busts right, rev. arms, richard rogers mayor, etc, 32mm (W & E 4330D); Golden Jubilee of the Ladies College, Cheltenham, 1904, an oval silver medal by Lilian Hamilton, bust of Dorothea Beale in cap right, rev. legend, 30 x 25mm (cf. Dorothea Beale (1831-1906), suffragette and pioneer of women’s education, was the principal of Cheltenham Ladies College from 1857 until her death; she also founded St Hilda’s College, Oxford, in 1893. The Cheltenham Numismatic Society, founded in 1953, was at one time one of the principal UK coin clubs but is now defunct
