Lancashire, Manchester Mechanical and Industrial Exhibition, Pomona Palace, a silver award medal by Elkington, two standing robed females with implements of art and sciences, cityscape in background, rev. arms and supporters, named (Awarded to Butterworth & Stephenson for their Combined Sewing & Marking Machine, 1875), 89mm (Allen Pt 4 [undated]). Very fine and a handsome medal, very rare in silver (£250-300)
