Royal Flying Corps, a very scarce pilot’s brevet in heavy die-stamped bronze, blade fasteners, an embroidered brevet unpadded white/pale brown on black with original trade label on reverse ‘Stephen Simpson Gold Silver Lace Manufacturer and Embroiderer Avenham Rd Works Preston’, and a further embroidered brevet larger type flat with the ‘feathers’ delineated in mid brown thread, very good condition (3) £350-400

The bronze badges were not issued for wear with uniform, probably a display frame embellishment
