The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), a fine quality officer’s green cloth shako, c1891-1939, standard pattern based on the 1869 model bugle horn badge with boss and mullet above, the body with black fabric thistle lace top and bottom, sewn in festoons, egg moulds and sliders, with thistle spray side ornaments, internally sound with buff leather sweat band and magenta silk lining (part shot), correct pattern plume of ostrich feathers over black vulture with a bronze corded ball holder, the mullet a replacement, the upper plume ring and chin strap missing, otherwise good overall condition. £550-650
