Naval officer’s sword, 1827 pattern, the wide pipe-backed spear pointed 80cm blade lightly etched with Royal Arms, fouled anchor, etc., retaining some original polish, regulation solid gilt hilt with folding sideguard and crowned fouled anchor device, lions head pommel fish-skin covered grip bound with copper wire, complete with its black leather scabbard having two gilt mounts the top locket with frog-stud and bottom chape, light staining to blade, some wear to gilding of chape otherwise mounts retain almost all original gilding £600-650
