Guard’s officer’s sword, 1854 pattern for an officer of the Irish Guards, the straight 82cm blade by Hawkes & Co Saville Row, London, etched with crowned GVR cypher foliate scrolls regimental device and within ribbons battle honours to ‘Hindenburg Line’, retaining almost all original finish, regulation plated guard incorporating regimental badge, fish-skin covered grip bound with silver wire, complete with its plated scabbard, sometime well refurbished overall £200-250
