An English silver hilted officer’s sword, circa 1790 the straight 74cm fullered blade etched with crowned GR and strapwork, silver stirrup guard pierced for sword-knot ring, srtraight narrow langets, flattened pommel, fluted ferrule and ribbed polished horn grip bound with silver ribbon, blade discoloured otherwise good condition £200-250

Probably made for a light dragoon officer.
