A presentation quality mameluke, the 82cm flat solid blade by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, No 59618 for 1922, etched with panels of foliage and strapwork, vacant panels to each side of blade, large ornate copper-gilt cross guard cast and chased with acanthus leaves, vacant oval sheilds to eccusson, solid single piece ivory grip deeply carved with scrolling foliage, complete with its polished steel scabbard with three large copper-gilt mounts again deeply cast and chased with intricate foliate patterns, each mount with an open wreath of acorns and oakleaves, fine condition throughout £650-700
