Harry Gee was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire and enlisted at Darwen, Lancashire. Serving with the 18th Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers, he was killed in action on 15 April 1917, aged 21 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. He was the son of Sarah Ann Gee of 48 Atlas Road, Darwen, Lancashire.
