Siegfried Harrison Brockbank was born in Highgate, Middlesex, and living at Maida Vale, enlisted at Willesden. Serving as a Private in the 1st/7th Battalion Middlesex Regiment, he was killed in action on 5 June 1915, aged 20 years. He was buried in Fauquissart Military Cemetery, Laventie, Pas de Calias, France. He was the son of James Harrison and Nettie Brockbank of Hillside Convent, Farnborough, Hampshire. Before the war he was a Colour Sergeant in the the Civil Service Cadet Corps. Sold with a small newspaper cutting announcing the recipient’s death.
