‘17 June (1815) Soldier Köhne distinguished himself so obviously as a Tiralleur that he was promoted on the spot to Corporal’. Only four Guelphic Medals were awarded to Feld Bataillon Bremen, of which two were returned. The battalion took 62 casualties at Quatre Bras on the 16th June and a further 239 at Waterloo on 18 June.
