William Sydney Goodall was born in Barry, Glamorgan on 30 December 1892. A Mechanical Engineer by occupation, he enlisted into the Royal Naval Air Service as a Probationary Petty Officer Mechanic on 10 August 1915. He was advanced to Leading Mechanic on 30 April 1917 and Petty Officer Mechanic on 1 August 1917. Sold with copied service paper.
