Private Thomas Martin, 16th (Service) Battalion (2nd Co. Down) (Pioneers) Royal Irish Rifles, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 2 October 1915. Later transferred to the Labour Corps, he was discharged ‘sick’ on 22 November 1918 and was entitled to a Silver War Badge (Number ‘B/208503’ on the S.W.B. list). Sold with copied m.i.c. and other research.
