Wilfred E. Wilson, a native of Bradford, Yorkshire, was awarded his “Cape Colony”, “Orange Free State”, “Transvaal” and “South Africa 1901” clasps for service as a Private (No. 19996) in the 56th Company, Imperial Yeomanry, and his “Tugela Heights”, “Relief of Ladysmith” and “Laing’s Nek” clasps for services as a Trooper (No. 812) in Bethune’s Mounted Infantry.
