Noel Campbell Stephen was born in Sydney, N.S.W., Australia, on 26 May 1878. A Solicitor by profession, he entered the R.N.V.R. as an Able Seaman on 21 October 1914. He was based on President, October 1914-March 1915, then on the armoured cruiser Bacchante, March-July 1915, Europa, July 1915 and President, serving with the Anti-Aircraft Corps in London, August 1915-November 1916, He was then discharged to shore, joining the R.N.A.S as an Airman 1st Class on 29 November 1916. In April 1918 he entered the R.A.F. Sold with damaged card box of issue and copied service papers.
John Liddiard Evans was born in Hackney, London, on 1 March 1874. Living at Peace Farm House, Bletchingley, Surrey, he enrolled as an Able Seaman into the R.N.V.R. Anti-Aircraft Corps on 28 August 1918. Sold with copied enrollment papers.
Frederick Nunn was born on 17 September 1880. An Auctioneer and Valuer by profession, he entered the Sheffield Division of the R.N.V.R. Anti-Aircraft Corps as an Able Seaman on 17 July 1915. Sold with copied service paper.
Air Mechanic 2nd Class William Parkinson, R.F.C., entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 10 October 1915. He was commissioned a Temporary 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) in the R.F.C. (London Gazette 3 August 1917). He entered the R.A.F. as a 2nd Lieutenant in April 1918. A ‘Lieutenant W. Parkinson, R.A.F.’ was awarded the Russian Order of St. Stanislaus, 3rd Class with swords for the allied intervention in North Russia. Sold with copied m.i.c. and gazette entry.
