Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Belmont, Modder River (22581 Dvr. J. Humpage, 75th Bty. R.F.A.) good very fine £300-350

Driver J. Humpage, 75th Battery, R.F.A., was killed in action at Modder River on 28 November 1899. He was one of only two men from the battery to be killed. Buried at Kimberley, his name appears on the War Memorial in Leicester.
