1573 Lance-Sergeant G. Thomas, Shropshire Light Infantry. His name is inscribed on the silver shield presented by the community of Hong Kong to Warrant Officers, Staff Sergeants and Sergeants of the 1st Battalion, K.S.L.I. for their services during the plague (ref. The Whitewash Brigade).
