Yorkshire Regt.); King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps (22883 S. Serjt-Maj., Imp. Yeo.); Yorkshire Imperial Yeomary 1900-02, 3rd Battalion, South Africa 1901-1902 (22883 T. Thomas Jordan served in the West Yorkshire Regiment and in the 48th (North Somerset) Company, 7th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry. Seriously wounded at Moedewil, 30 September 1901, when serving with the Imperial Yeomanry; he was subsequently awarded the D.C.M.
