Newton Frederick Joshua Waldeck was born in Perth, Western Australlia on 30 October 1909. He enlisted into the R.A.A.F. at Perth on 9 April 1942. Waldeck was discharged on 24 December 1945, his last posting being at 60 Operational Base Unit.
