Raymond Walter Wing, who was born in New Bilton, Warwickshire, originally enlisted in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in Coventry, but subsequently transferred to the Machine Gun Corps and was killed in action on 24 April 1918, while serving in the 35th Battalion, M.G.C. He is buried in the Varennes Military Cemetery.

Walter Wing, who was born in Princethorpe, Warwickshire, also enlisted in Coventry, and was killed in action on 27 March 1917, while serving in the 1/7th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. He is buried in the Tincourt New British Cemetery.
