Cecil Sutton Chamberlain was born on 14 November 1895. He was commissioned a Lieutenant (Administration) in the R.A.F. on 1 April 1918 and in June was serving on the seaplane carrier H.M.S.
Ark Royal as part of No.2 Aegean Group. He then served in No.15 Aegean Group and H.Q. Constantinople, November 1918-May 1919. Then after a short period at H.Q. Salonika he returned to England via Malta. In December 1919 he was transferred to the Unemployed List. Later an Accountant with the Imperial Tobacco Company and living in Bedminster, Bristol. During the Second World War he served as a Captain in the Royal Army Pay Corps. Captain Chamberlain died on 14 July 1971. Sold with copied R.A.F. service papers.
