George Henry Ayles-Waters attended St. John’s Diocesan College, Waterford in 1909 and St. Mary Ossett College, Birmingham in 1914. He was ordained a Deacon in 1915 and a Priest in 1917 and served an Honorary Chaplain to the Forces in the latter part of the Great War and on into 1922. He was appointed Curate of St. Mary’s, Portsea, 1926-27 and St. James’s, Milton, 1927-32. Ayles-Waters was Chaplain of Netherne Mental Hospital in the Diocese of Southwark from 1932. The Reverend Ayles-Waters died on 19 November 1945. Sold with a folder of copied research.
