Walter Kent was born in Hull and enlisted at Beverley, East Yorkshire. He entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 16 August 1914. Serving with the 54th Battery, 39th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, he was killed in action on 13 August 1916, aged 22 years. He was buried in the Quarry Cemetery, Montauban, France. He was the son of Harry Kent of 12 Railway Cottages, Norwood, Beverley. Sold with copied research including m.i.c. and war diary extract.
